I gave Natural Collection a try because I wanted better choices

contentBy contentJune 30, 2025No Comments5 Mins Read

I’ve always believed that what we wear says a lot about who we are. But for years, my wardrobe told a story I didn’t love. Fast fashion had made it easy to fill my closet with trendy items that didn’t last and didn’t feel like me. I wanted clothes that were made to last, both in quality and in meaning. That’s when I decided to try Natural Collection.

I had heard of them through a friend who cares deeply about sustainability and ethics in fashion. At first, I was unsure. Most ethical fashion brands I’d seen were either too expensive or too plain. But Natural Collection seemed different. Their clothing didn’t sacrifice style, and the prices were more approachable than I expected.

Shopping for clothes that matter

The first thing I noticed while browsing the women’s clothing section was the variety. There were dresses in soft floral prints, cozy organic cotton jumpers, and smart basics like shirts and trousers that looked both relaxed and structured. It wasn’t about chasing trends. It was about finding pieces that could work for different parts of life—work, weekends, evenings at home.

I ended up choosing a long-sleeve tunic made from organic cotton, a pair of leggings from a fair trade brand, and a knit cardigan that looked perfect for layering through autumn. Every item came with clear sourcing information. I could see where the cotton was grown, how the workers were treated, and what certifications the materials carried. That transparency made me feel more connected to the process behind the clothing.

What stood out once the clothes arrived

When the package arrived, everything was packed simply, without plastic. That set a good tone from the start. Each piece felt good to the touch—no stiff fabrics or strange dyes. The tunic draped in a way that felt natural. The leggings were thick enough to wear confidently outside, and the cardigan was warm without being bulky.

After wearing each piece for a week, here’s what I noticed:

  • The fit was consistent and true to size

  • The fabrics held up well in the wash, with no shrinking or pilling

  • Nothing felt overly delicate or difficult to care for

  • I felt more comfortable wearing them than I did in most of my old clothes

These were simple pieces, but they quickly became favorites. I wasn’t just wearing them because they were better for the planet. I was wearing them because they felt better on my body.

Rethinking what I keep in my closet

Trying Natural Collection made me take a closer look at the rest of my wardrobe. A lot of what I had wasn’t built to last. Some items had only been worn once or twice. Others had already started to fall apart after a few washes. In contrast, what I ordered from Natural Collection felt like it had staying power.

I also liked that many of their items were designed by brands with a story. One top I ordered came from a company that works with women’s cooperatives in India. Another came from a UK label that uses low-impact dyes and small-batch production. Wearing these clothes made me feel more aware—not just of how I look, but of the lives behind the label.

A different kind of shopping experience

Shopping on the Natural Collection website felt slower, in a good way. There wasn’t an endless scroll of seasonal sales or urgent deals. Instead, the categories were clear, and the focus was on values as much as products. I could filter by fair trade, organic, vegan, and more. That made it easy to find clothes that fit both my taste and my goals.

One feature I appreciated was the option to shop by principle. If something being made in the UK was important to me, I could browse just those products. If I wanted something plastic-free or suitable for sensitive skin, those filters were easy to apply.

Looking forward

Since that first order, I’ve gone back and added a few more pieces—an organic cotton dress, a bamboo blend T-shirt, and a lightweight jumper for spring. Each time, the process has been consistent. Delivery is reliable, the sizing stays accurate, and the clothing feels like it belongs in my daily life.

Natural Collection didn’t just give me new clothes. It gave me a new way to think about getting dressed. I stopped feeling like I had to choose between style and ethics. Now, I look for pieces that do both, and I’ve found plenty of them here.

Trying Natural Collection wasn’t about making a grand lifestyle change. It was about wanting better choices—choices that feel good on the skin, that last longer, and that reflect something more thoughtful. I didn’t expect to find so many things I liked. But now, when I open my wardrobe, I feel more sure about what I see. And that, to me, is worth it.
